Patella complaints
Patella complaints are common in both men and women. It is usually caused by repetitive movements in sports, for example. It can also occur due to overuse, trauma, growth, osteoarthritis or a congenital defect. Most cases of kneecap pain can be remedied with physiotherapy. Other cases can be surgically corrected, but this affects only a small proportion of all cases.
